| Finds from the period of late antiquity and the mediaeval period are rare. They have been discovered in Ozalj, Jopic Cave near Krnjak, at Vukova Gorica, Kirin and Cetingrad.
Especially interesting is the discovery of an Illyrian shrine at the Turska kosa site near Topusko. Among other finds, almost 400 clay idols were unearthed at this site, so that this museum has the greatest collection of idols in Croatia.
