The many exhibitions arranged by Sorić in Klovićevi dvori were unsurpassed for their attendance figures, and each one was a special social and cultural event. His work started with the exhibition Prints of Albrecht Dürer, and went on with the Oton Gliha Retrospective, Exhibition of Sculptures of Dušan Džamonja, while the real life of the Museum-Gallery Space started with the exhibition Treasury of Zagreb Cathedral, in 1983. The big project Ancient Chinese Culture, put on in the 1984-1985 season, had an attendance of more than 450,000. As well as these projects and in connection with his being director, a marketing programme was established - good catalogues and posters were published, there were commemorative envelopes, posters, commemorative gold and silver coins. The MGS had about 70% of its own resources, a large part of which were put into advertising.
In his work, A. Sorić was enterprising, liberal in his approach and had major projects. At the end of 2002 the exhibition Gold Harvest - Chinese Contemporary Art was put on, Soric being, thanks to his foreign contacts, project leader.
